I tried to use the HP Restore disks for a HP Pravilion 6460 Desktop with W98. It would get to the point that you want to select what you want to do and freeze. The error message reads Bad File Allocation Table. After a fdisk with a W/98 boot disk itwould load the restore information and then begin to unzip the files. On the screen I would see pkunzip unable to unzip these files. Most of the files that could not be unzipped are Windows/system files. It either freezes at this point or wont load and want to start over. Anyone heard or had this problem
