Hi,
I have a pc in my shop that had a virus, I did chkdsk and found the number reported was les than 655…. I began to run Nortons anti virus and thiught that it would be quickere to do the restore versus running the anti virus. I stopped the antivirus and tried to do the recovery cd. It said that this cd was not for this pc. I know (or am pretty sure)it is the correct cd. This is my sisters pc and I was holding the cd for her in my shop, I might have swapped but I don’t think so. I then deleted the partition and formated the c drive. It is still reporting that this is the wrong cd.
Is this something about HP that I need to know.
