o/s : amd athlon 900mhz,192mb ram,20gb h/d,windows me.
everything was working fine then the video card shit itself.i replaced same with nvidia g force 2 64mb card and installed all the hardware but the problem is windows me wont let me install hp driver for hp scanjet 2200c scanner.
when windows me auto detects the scanner it puts it’s own drivers on and it shows up in device manager as unknown device with a red x . it does not show up as an image device. ? is the driver windows me puts on WIA supported and also are the hp driver [sj646en.exe] wia supported. This scanner [with sj646en.exe]was working fine before.I checked the IRQ’s and it does not seem [to me] to be allocating an IRQ for the scanner.
