installed two additional ram cards last night, started up the machine and the power resets during the xp loading screen. took the ram back out and reverted to original setup and still resets during boot. tried swapping the power supply, swapping ram and running memtest86. no errors with memtest.
system will boot ubcd and DSL linux. is there a way i can access c:\ drive in linux to copy personal files to a thumb drive? tried also booting mini windows 98 into ram and it reset the first time, but loaded to second time. as soon as i got into mini win98 windows explorer only sees the recovery partition of the c:/ drive, and not the primary partition.
any ideas?
