my daughters laptop screen has started going blank after appox 30 to 40 minutes,it does not shut down and as soon as you restart everything is normal for the next 30 minutes.i have loaded the latest bios,loaded the latest drivers,connected it to another monitor,ran a virus scan,defragged it and checked the cooling,although it is setting on cooling fans,so i don’t think it’s overheating.i have ran it in safe mode and it is fine and i have ran a chkdsk/r and still no help.i have talked to hp but you know how that go’s ,someone different every time and still no answer.there is no icons in the background that you can see even by shining a light on the screen.does anyone have a clue as to what can be wrong? thanks
