I let my niece spend the holidays with me and she was using my laptop alot and now it will not power on. A couple of times I did notice that she left the power adapter plugged in for long periods of time which I have done before and I told her not to do it. However, now my laptop will not power on at all anymore. I had to have the power jack repaired before and am afraid that it may need to be replaced again. I no longer live in the same place where I had it repaired last time, and I just had a baby and really cant afford what I paid last time. Can I do this myself and hope for the best? Are there any suggestions?
