hp3150 paper jam

My HP3150 keeps saying I have a paper jam but THERE IS NO PAPER JAMMED IN THE MACHINE. I have looked and looked and moved everything around – no paper is jammed in there but I’m without a printer/fax now. Please help!

  The most likely cause is a bad or dirty sensor (you would be amazed how much paper dust accumulates in these printers…) Anyways, get yourself a can of “canned air” and blow out all the paper sensors… There is a very good chance this will fix your problem before you start smending any significan $$
