HPBPRO.EXE error message

I manage 7-8 print servers running NT 4.0. There are 400-500 print queues on each which are mostly HP drivers. Lately 2 of the servers have been displaying an error at random times. It is "HPBPRO.EXE, The application failed to initialize properly(0xc0000022)Click OK to terminate." I was told this file has something to do with bidirectional communication. Has anyone encountered this error? Any suggestions for a resolution. These servers are in a healthcare environment and have many patient critical care queues on them.

Are these for the HP 3000 printers? If so, you may need to just re-install the drivers (PS - PCL) files for them.

The HPBPRO.EXE is usually found in one of these:

Driver files to C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\SPOOL\DRIVERS\W32X86

Driver files (kernel mode) to C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\SPOOL\DRIVERS\W32X86\2

INF file to C:\WINNT\INF
