HTC sensation issue any help?

By mckevitt ·
I have a HTC sensation phone. When sending emails they seem to take forever to send. I orignally thought this was just with image attachments. But this happens with standar text format emails too. Any suggestions as to why?

And the Upload Speed of your Net Connection is??????

Most ISP's even for Mobile Devices like Phones have a slower Upload speed than a Download Speed.

Hence things that you send take longer to send than to receive.

This is a corporate mobile phone tho. And no other users experience this issue. I understand that they will be a little slower. But mine seem to take over 24 hours. Annoying is an understatement.

Well try uploading something

Side by side with another Phone on the same system and see if there is a difference.

It's possible that you have a Faulty Handset but it's also possible you are asking it to do more than others or expecting more than is actually possible.

The only way to test this is a direct comparison with the same Make & Model Handset side by side and time the Upload speed of the same transmission on both Handsets.

if you try to do the test without the handsets being side by side there are too many possibilities that come into play which can cause different results.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried doing this with two handsets and all the settings are the same. For some reason the one phone seems to take hours to send tiny emails.

Anyway the problem should hopefully now be resolved i have reported the issue with orange and they have sent an update to the user.

Thanks for the support
