How do I allow my clients of a Windows 2000 sever access HTTP Secure websites?

I'm not sure what you're asking so it's hard to give a good answer. Perhaps if you could describe your network a little and also describe how your Internet connection works, that would be helpful.

There is nothing about Windows2000 itself that should prevent your clients from reaching a Web site that uses SSL on port 443 unless you have configured a proxy server, are using ISA server, etc.

I've found that when you install win2k on a pc the SSL won't be allowed in any version of IE w/out W2K SP1 and the high encryption pack installed first. In IE on one of your pc's click on help, about, and see if the encryption strength is 56 bit or 128 bit. If you're using IE 5.5 it's the Operating System that needs to be upgraded, if it's an older version IE might need to be upgraded.
