    Huawei eSpace 1900 management solutions

    Hi,

As part of the expansion of our middle-sized high-tech company, we’ve been looking into different VoIP switching solutions and are considering the eSpace product line.
We read in the documentation that the U1900 series can be managed either through a web interface, a CLI or the LMT solution. As far as we can tell all of these options are either for local or semi-local management (the LMT is limited to 4 switches).
What is the solution for management of a network with more than 5 switches? Would all the switches be configured locally in that scenario or is there a centralized management solution?
Are there other management options that we’ve missed? Is the eSpace series supported in the U2000 platform?

    Thanks in advance,
    Marti

You could daisy chain 100 switches

You could daisy chain 100 switches and it might add 1ms of delay. Almost all modern switches are considered non blocking. They can run all ports at 1gbit up and 1gbit down all at the same time.
