GFXDRV.DRV is the display graphics driver.
Configure you machine to work in Standard VGA mode then test hyperTerm.

If everything works OK, then it's time to update the Video drivers your using or firmware, I seen this issue serveral time on 3D card mainly from Intel.

hope this helps

The file GFXDRV.DRV is the driver for the INTEL 740 graphics accelerator chip. You need to get the latest driver for your video card or you can get a driver from Intel. Hope this helps you out.

I once had this card on a computer and after 2 weeks of major problems with it, it was pulled and replaced with a better card. Is the problem only happening when you are transfering files or other times in that program. Also, is it uploading or downloading or both? Is this a new problem or is it one you have all along. Have you tried going to http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/intel740/
to download the most current drivers?

For a simple fix, you can try sliding your video acceleration down. Go into control panel, system, and under the performance tab click on the video button, and slide the tab to the left.

Reboot and try it again. This is a harmless fix and will tell you quickly if you need a new video driver.

Good answers, but why do you use Hyperterm when there are tons of free FTP/Telnet /Modem to Modem software out there ?

Try going to http://download.cnet.com/downloads/0-10062-100-1629019.html?tag=st.dl.10062_106_2.lst.titledetail

This works great..if link is broken try
http://www.anzio.com/

Hope this helps
