Hyperlinks not working in Outlook Expres

Hello
This computer is from Dell running XP Home with Outlook Express 6. For some reason when I click on a received emails hyperlink which is blue nothing happens.I can copy and paste but that is not how it’s supposed to work.
I have looked through the FAQ’S but didn’t find any help.
Any help will be appreciated
