When I hit a hyperlink in a website that should open a blank but addressed email, I get an error message that says “Cannot perform this operation because the default email client is not properly installed”.
I use Outlook 2000, and IE7 Windows XP. This is a new problem and otherwise Outlook works perfectly.
Any ideas? Uninstalling and reinstalling Outlook feels like overkill.
