i am currently using Norton System Work which is no longer being renewed. I am also running the free Zone Alarm. What would you suggest I use to replace the Norton? They are suggesting Norton 360 version 3.0 or Norton Internet Security 2010. Is there a free version of something that will work as well? The more I read about them the more confused I get.
Thanks Dave B.

To the point that you call it, "something", then how would you know if what you already have is working? Or, that any suggested alternative would work?

This may be the time in your longstanding membership to finally listen up and learn.

Utility Suites

I presume you are as much looking for the defrag and registry cleaning functions as well as anti-virus.

Full suites include:

Ilio System Mechanic

Avanquest System Suite

A limited suite is Raxco Perfect Speed.

The Raxco software combined with Zone Alarm and AVG or Avast make for a pretty good combination.

Comodo has a good security suite that includes virus, firewall and mal-ware protection.
