Hi everyone. I have searched the forums, and found some posters having similar issues, but the solutions havent worked for me. I am a web designer with very little hands on knowledge in the fields of network admin or servers.
My company has decided to host its own site, we have windows server 2003 running IIS 6.0 We are using a Netgear VPN Firewall / Router for the network and all the computers ( 4 other ) never have any issues. The server however, will not maintain a stable connection to the internet. I can reset the router, and get a connection, approx twenty minutes later, the connection fails and I have to reset the router again. I have spent two days on this nightmare and cannot resolve it on my own, so I humbly ask for help.
Has anyone out there had a similar issue ? Or, is there any one with more knowledge that could assist me in finding a solution ? I am pulling my hair out and would be eternally grateful for any kind of help or advice. I am new to running a server, up until now my only role has been to work on our web sites. So, I fear this may be out of my hands. Thanks in advance.
