ive tried every thing and exausted all leads that i could possibly exaust the problem is that im updating a harddrive that was in another computer and after i reset the winsock and was able to acess the net and downloaded microsofts malisious software removal it got rid of about 850 infected files from maleware and spyware after which i updated the norton internet protection from 2003 to an updated version which found a backdoor ranky virus and a backdoor trojen virus now its all up to date and fully protected but i still cant turn windows firewall on or off.i am loged on as admin and i dont just want to use a 3rd party software i want the origanal software to work. could i reinstall windows firewall if so could someone tell me how?????TY
