I’m running WinXP Pro SP2 on a variety of machines. On two of these, when a user has been logged on for a period of time (say, over two hours) and an other user is also logged on, if one of them tried to sign off, the computer saves the user settings, and then displays the background on the screen. The mouse pointer is still there, and moves. But it won’t get past that. CTRL-ALT-DEL does nothing, nor do any of the mouse buttons.
