HP Pavilion with Win ME. Everything great for 1st two weeks after upgrading to ME but now computer will not shut down. I go through the shut down process and computer re -boots. I also tried switching it off but again it re-boots. I am assuming itis a windows problem but I guess it could also be a hardware problem. I can see the ok to turn off your computer message flash on the screen just before it reboots, but nothing I have tried will allow me to shut down.
