i forgot my root password.

i have a celestix aries at home and planning to use it as an internet server. i forgot my root password and cant login. im planning to run a bot program in it, to lessen the load on my desktop.

boot into linux rescue and then edit the
/etc/passwd file and give root an empty
password. Don't forget to set a new one
after this though.

my celestix doesnt have a removable media drive.. its a small box, with small LCD and a few buttons. you need to attach a monitor and keyboard in order to login the system

i dont notice any bootloaders when i boot it up, thats why im having problems recovering its root password... waaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
