I have a AMD athlon dual core 4000+. Should I enable cool and quiet in bios

Depends on what you are doing and how efficient your CPU Heatsink is

But if the CPU is getting hot and that is around or above 75C then yes it would most defiantly be a good idea to enable this option.

nope my cpu's temp only reaches 50 c. should i enable the cool and quiet?

it doesnt reach that high. just around 52 at the most. SHould i enable the cool and quiet technology in bios or not?

Well enabling it will not hurt

And may cut down the noise of the Fans in the case.

If it was mine I would have it turned on but then again maybe you like it different.

I've been running AMD chips for a few years...
