it worked one day, then the next it wouldn't. there were no precursers like failed start ups, or errors before any of this, it just didn't turn on. well it turns on but doesnt run windows. i can get into set up but thats it, this comp is brand new, but i have no warrenty on it, and it cost me alot, some one told me my hard drive failed but that the information on it was recoverable and that i needed a new hard drive???? is that right? i just dont see my harddrive failing 2 weeks after i get it. anyway some body has to have some trick i can use to use this this comp. thanks dwk2

Brand new computer, no waranty? Ummmmm..... Did you buy it from an individual or a store? Is it stolen? Have you tried contacting Fujitsu directly?
Please be more specific. You said you can get into setup. Is that Windows setup or are you accessing the BIOS by pressing a key while booting (F1, F2, DEL, F10, etc...).
What do you see on the screen immediately after you press the button to turn it on.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
