So I have this issue with sound and video stuttering in games. I have a dell latitude e6540 with 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and while using only discord and chrome (2 tabs) the laptop is using 50% and if I play a more demanding game it just stutters after a while and crashes. After a game crashes it says that the usage of RAM is about 7,2GB. I already tried this software that deletes cached data but it didn’t help.

While installing Windows 10 version 2004, to see if that would continue with my HP laptop, it did not while the install was going through, but after I installed Google Chrome, the circle of balls that rotate, when in “wait” just freezes for a second, and then the circle of little balls goes on for 4 seconds. A FRESH install did not solve it for me, either, and another 4GB RAM did not either. How about a SSD card, instead of a HD. They say it is 10 times faster and a vast improvement? That is what I am up to today, and I see no one but you even giving the condition a name, like Stutter.

        AMD Radeon Graphics Adapter

I will answer my own question after putting in a new hard drive. The graphics driver at first was Microsoft Graphis Driver, for my AMD Radeon apu. When I updated
the driver, I got back this problem. I had to “roll back” the driver in DEVICE MANAGER, to what installs itself with
a clean Windows 10 2004 Operating System, install.
I can stream YouTube videos only with the Microsoft
Driver and not the one that belongs installed for an AMD radeon apu.

Are there drivers available elsewhere than Windows Update, online that fit my apu AMD Radeon graphics adapter?

I found info about AMD Radeon
Designed with 1080p gaming in mind, the AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT is plenty powerful for gamers on the budget. Sure, it isn’t the most powerful graphics card out there, but it’s powerful enough for its price point, and an easy choice when put up against the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 for the value.

Game stuttering is often connected to improper/faulty graphics drivers. Game stuttering can be triggered by a plethora of reasons from an underequipped system to uncomplying software. Updating your GPU drivers is an essential step, as this is usually what causes stuttering in games
