I have a Vista sp164-bit Desktop

By wasonga8 ·
Due to coherent Power fluctuation in the country, computers crushing is part of our life style.

Whenever this comp crushes I have to go through myriads of rituals to bring it up.

I wish to to restore it to 32-bit.
how can i down grade it since i can,t load 64-bit SP2 on it after crushing?

Incoherent and crashing

I guess is what you mean.

You figure 32-bit will be easier somehow to resurrect than 64-bit? I don't figure it that way.

How about an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)? Shuts things down gracefully. If your setup is not all that grandiose, then a smaller, cheaper one should do the trick.

Reminds me, wasonga, that I have to look into this, too. Power here is pretty reliable. Only, it does crap out once in a while. Then, I have to put up with what you put up with -- "myriads of rituals to bring it up".

Additionally, I am more concerned that, when the power craps out, and stays out for a time, I have to worry about my freezer full of filet mignon. Screw the computer.
