The procedure is simple.
1. Make a shadow-website like my-website.com/wp or wp.website, com, or if you prefer a totally new (temporary) new domain, like my-website-wp.com.
2. When that works to your satisfaction, delete all contents of the old website and replace it with the contents of your new one.I don’t think it will affect your ranking much. And the SEO might even be better, if you use the SEO add-ons of WordPress.

Sorry, no.
if you feel you can’t make a WordPress website yourself, find a freelancer or company to do it for you.Can you tell more about React and Contently? It’s only relevant if you think that a automated conversion of the site is easier or cheaper or better than making a new one in WordPress from scratch, which I doubt.

Hi Ali,
Switching from React.js to WordPress can impact your SEO, but it doesn’t have to harm your ranking if done thoughtfully. WordPress is known for being SEO-friendly and is a great choice for content-heavy sites. Here’s how to make the transition smooth:
Migrate Carefully: Keep your current URL structure as similar as possible to maintain existing SEO links. Redirect any changed URLs properly to avoid broken links.
Optimize for Speed: React is fast, and WordPress can be too if optimized. Use caching plugins and a lightweight theme to maintain good loading times.
Install SEO Plugins: WordPress has excellent SEO tools like Yoast or RankMath. These plugins help optimize on-page elements like titles, meta descriptions, and image tags.
Preserve Content and Metadata: Ensure all metadata, internal links, and headings are carried over. This will prevent any ranking losses and keeps content SEO intact.
If you’re looking for support, a website development or website management services company experienced in WordPress migrations can make this a seamless process.
Best of luck with the migration!
Warm regards,
Ghais -

Switching from React.js to WordPress can impact your website’s SEO, but whether it’s positive or negative depends on how the transition is managed. Here are a few key points to consider:
1. **SEO Impact**: React-based websites often rely on client-side rendering, which can sometimes affect how search engines crawl your content. WordPress, with proper configuration, is more SEO-friendly by default, especially with plugins like Yoast or Rank Math.
2. **301 Redirects**: Ensure you set up 301 redirects for all existing URLs to their new counterparts to retain your current rankings and traffic.
3. **Content Structure**: Maintain your meta tags, alt attributes, schema markup, and any other SEO elements during the migration.
4. **Speed Optimization**: React sites can be very fast. Ensure that your WordPress site matches or improves page load speed by using caching plugins and optimized hosting.
If you’re confident about migrating, here’s a simplified procedure:
– Backup your existing site.
– Set up WordPress on your server.
– Choose a theme that aligns with your existing design or customize one.
– Export content from your React site and import it into WordPress.
– Test thoroughly for functionality and performance before going live.If done correctly, the migration can improve your site’s SEO while making content management easier. Consider consulting an expert for a smooth transition.
