It worked fine, we moved it from one desk to another, NOW it doesn't work! cannot get it to set up, the computer to send anything to it, or print

no communication from computer to printer either way

A bit more info needed . . .

What is this plugged into? Computer and model.
What is your operating system?
Have you checked Device Manager yet?

Check the cable at both ends.

If all else fails, uninstall ALL the drivers for each function of this device.
THEN allow the system to 'rediscover' it and reinstall the drivers.

All in one faults

by mjd420nova In reply to I have an Canon MP390 All ...

Most of the all in one units have a number of plugin cards internally that can become dislogded during shipping/moving. This would take a real tech to disassemble it and reseat all the cards and check the connnections.

Thank you

Most of the information I've received or read confirm what you've said. Plug it in load drivers and leave it alone. IF you move it or change computers with it, forget it. They don't work any more.

I'm still hopeful but have spent so much time loading and unloading software, drivers and checking checking checking and rechecking i'm pooped out. I don't see a solution soon. Thank you again. Modesto, CA
