By jipson_paul ·
Hello,
I have trouble in installing Linux RHEL4 . The system gets stuck in the middle of installation. I have opted the Hardware noprob option. I tried all the options given. But In all cases the system hangs in the midway, while installing the components with second disc of Linux RHEL 4. The system i used was P3 600Mhz processor,512MB RAM , 80GB HDD.

Does it hang, or fail?

Do you get an error message?

Is this a whitebox? If so, what MB? If not, what brand/model?

If it hangs, at what point does it hang?

Have you confirmed that your second disk isn't bad? Bad media is very common for install failures.

Your out of memory..

To fix this try and update your memory at lest around 2gb of ram if possible, this will cure your slow install of RedHat..

Please post back if you have more problems or questions.
