Does anybody have any pdf's or doc's on writing and using NT scripts or batch files. I have found lately that these can be quite useful in administering groups, logins, basically anything???

I'm not looking for VB or coded scripts...I'm looking more for batch scripts used to help NT Admins...for example

*****
rem used to determine membership of terminal server groups.
rem 2/8/01

rem basic command: "showmbrs domainA\groupname" > output filename
rem will need windows 2000 professional resource kit

showmbrs domainA\bostonHR >> c:\HRmanage.txt
******
This shows you how to export the members of a group to a text file.

Have you looked at Kixtart32 this is a resource kit utility. It's great for login scripts and is very similar to batch files with a little added versatility. There is a good document that comes with it in the resource kit. Here is an excellent website that depicts various examples of the things you can do with kix32.

I found this on my old bookmarks:

Good for examples and ready-made scripts.
