I need a start up script

I need a strat up script to run and set the settings for the user the first time they log in to a computer . so they don't have to do it manually. \
please help me out
i'm using win2k domain and exchage 2k

You can use different scripts and policies but must give use more details about what you want.
What settings you what to be done automatically?

I just need the script to set the settings in the outlook so it can connect to my local exchange and get the e-mail for the user.

Oh yes you can (put this in a script i mean)

you will need

profgen.exe
newprof.exe
outlook.prf

All of these files are from microsoft and come with the exchange reskit (i think), but i'll send them to you if you can't get them elsewhere. Basically, your login script runs profgen (the outlook profile generator) which in turn runs newprof, which creates the users outlook profile from the settings in the outlook.prf file - which you edit yourself and works for all users.

***Very Important NOTE *********
After you copy the URL a space or a %20 maybe gets inserted in the URL when you paste it into your browser. Delete any spaces or such characters from the URL for the page to be loaded.
