epyon - You have an excellent question. But you delivered it the wrong way. You wish to place your query before Tech Replc. Tech Repblc does not repond to questions placed on their TechQ&A page. Therefore use their "Contact Us" link found at the bottom of the Web page.
And Good Luck and your technical enthusiasm.

I think you're referring to Server Side Includes. These are reusable code files that can be included into any other page in your site. As an example, you could implement a navigation bar as an SSI, and inlcude it in all your pages. If you update thesingle include file, all the other pages will automatically reflect the change.

Check out this MSDN article:

The SSI include tag should do this for you. You create the HTML/ASP/CFM/etc. code (just the code to include, not a complete HTML page) and save that as a file.

Then, in the exact place where you wish to include it in other HTML files, simply include one of the following tags:

(For a file in the virtual root directory)

<!--#include virtual="/firstfileyousaved" -->

(For a file in the same directory)

<!--#include file="/firstfileyousaved" -->

There are other SSI tags; include isnot the only one. A previous response noted a Web site to look at, you can explore further there if you like. This is just for reusable code.

I'm so glad you're exploring Web development so young!! What an inspiration. Keep it up :)
