I am trying to test an SOE rollout and have a 300MB WinPE1.6 image followed by a 25GB deployment resource on network or NTFS formatted memory key.
With the WPE image in VMWorkstation or Microsoft Virtual PC (On a WXP SP3 Host)I am unable to access outside networks. I can ping the image network card (I think) at 127.0.0.1 but am unable to ping anything else – I get a General Failure message.
1) Am I correct in assuming the problem is with network support of the VM Ware or MVPC (because I can ping 127.0.0.1)
2) What can I do about it?
Any suggestions are appreciated.
