I need some help identifing

By HAL 9000 Moderator ·
A Intel Server Board it's a dual processor Slot 1 M'Board with a PBA of 703861-209 and a IBN58481611.

Other than the standard DIM markings and that type of thing there is no other markings on the Board and the PBA number dosn't appear on Intel's web Site.

Does anyone have any idea of the Model Number?

The Dust Bunnies have got to this system and it's not currently running and I would like to know a little more about it before I change the dead PS as I don't want to do any more damage that has already been done.

I can live with the fact that it may be dead but I don't want to be the one to kill it off. Currently it has 2 X 550 P3's on it and an unknown amount of some form of SD RAM as there are no markings on the RAM either.

But it's a standard looking Server board with on board IDE, Floppy Controller, Video, USB, LAN, and SCSI in both the 50 & 68 Pin arraignments. The second COM Port is on a Fly Lead and so are the 2 X USB Ports but otherwise it's a standard Dual Processor Slot 1 M'Board.

I just need to know what I'm dealing with before I attempt to apply power again after I finally get all the dust and other crap out of the case.

motherboards.org can find it with the part number but then you could do that on the Intel site.

Outta ideas without a board part number.

Hi,

I found this http://developer.novell.com/yes/52015.htm
The PAB matches the number you identified.

Hope this helps,

Rob
