I need to set up a projector in my conference room, i put a “y” and a ten foot cord to the projector while plugging the monitor into the other half of the “y”. It causes flicker on both the monitor and the projector. I tried adjusting the refresh rates to no avail. I also noticed a slight dimming of the display. I unhooked the monitor and still noticed flicker on the projector(without the “y”, so i hooked the projector up to a laptop through the 10 foot cord and it worked fine. Do i need to geta better video card for the desk top? does anyone know of a card that i can plug both the monitor and the projector into without a “y”? Thanks for the help.
