I/O Error from usb port…

by faisazlan_88 . Updated 18 years, 8 months ago

Dear friends,

I just bought myself a new pc… and here’s the specs…

Windows XP Service Pack 2
AMD Athlon 64X2
1G DDR2 RAM
GeForce 6

here’s where the problem kick in…

When I inserted my thumb drive into the USB port… (i’ve tried to all of the ports available)… the computer detected it and I can even see the files in the thumb drive… but the problem is I can’t copy it to my Hard Drive…

Sometimes it says
1) could no copy xxxx:the process could not be performed because of an I/O error.

sometimes
2) could not read from source file or disks.

I’ve tried inserting my friend’s thumb drive… the same problem occurs… so it’s not the thumb drive… it’s something else…

I Need HELP!!!!

thanks guyz…
