I slaved my boot drive and now I can't see my documents?
missing or corrupt
system32\hal.dll
windows\system32\config\system
I tried every trick and no luck, so I have slaved the drive to another drive with Windows XP Pro installed. I can now access the files, except I can't find the My Documents or the Documents and Settings folder on the slave drive.
Is there a way to find these files without using data recovery software?
If not what data recovery program is recommended?
Thanks
