I just acquired my first Mac a couple of week ago, and before I knew
it I had everything configured and installed the way I wanted it.
HOWEVER
When I first booted up, the default account was USER which was easy
enough to change, but the short name is still “user”.
Easiest for me is to find a way to change the short name, since I want
all my current setting to stay as they are.
If that’s not possible, how can I “clone” my “user” account into a new
account so that I have all my apps and files the same, or can it not be
done?
