The following steps will surely help you solve your problem

Step 1:Log into the admin center and navigate to Users -> Active users -> highlight the mailbox and click Edit Exchange properties.
Step 2:Click on mailbox features then click Enable for Litigation hold.
Step 3:Specify how many days you want to retain emails from being deleted.
This is one such method which I used to restrict email deletion
I hope this information was helpful

      You can try this:

      1. Navigate to the folder you wish to Share Permissions for and click the “Folder” tab.

      2. Click “Folder Permissions” in the Properties group.

      3. Select the person from whom you’d like to remove permissions.

      4. Click “Remove”, and click “Ok.”

No, it’s not feasible to do so. You can forward the e-mails to your other outlook account for your safety.
