I want to Unshare my c$ d$ drives

I want to Unshare my c$ d$ drive. I want to secure my harddisk Data privacy. I tried different registry solutions which were suggested to me in my previous same qs but it does not work. I have NT4.0 member server. i unshare my drives manually and after restart they r shared again automatically. local policy editor does not implement it. please help..........

Hi,
This subject is covered in depth in article Q288164 - search for that q number at microsoft.com/technet

The article describes how to do this both via the registry and via system policies. if, as I suspect, it is the same info that you sayyou were given before then you either have a one in a million bizarre machine (unlikely) or you have missed a step when implementing the fixes (that's where I'd put my money). hope it goes ok this time around.....
