    … Which third party cookies I have to allow to invade my PC in order to download a file from TechRepublic.com that requires a log in to get the file ?
    BTW the answer is not NONE – although I think it should be – because I’ve got ZoneAlarm Pro to prove otherwise.

    Thanks in advance for an answer that will help me to keep my PC clear of unnecessary files.

      I allow NO 3rd party cookies, with no problem.

      From personal experience, I strongly urge that you NOT use ZA for cookie control.

      I have had numerous cases where ZA mistook 1st party cookies as being 3rd party ones, with the result that desirable or required actions were blocked.
