Hello to anyone–HELP!! My IBM Aptiva computer that was running Windows 98 was recently updated with Windows XP Home edition. I also converted the FAT32 files to the NTFL (?) like it suggested in the Windows XP handbook. At first it ran ok, but the second day, it won’t go past the IBM APTIVA screen that has IBM and APTIVA in blue letters. It is an AMD Athlon 500mHz processor with 17 GB hard drive and 512Kb L2 pipeline Burst Cache (if that helps). Has my computer bit the dust??? I really hope not. I can’t afford one for a couple of months.
