    IBM InfoSphere Information Analyzer

    by haze21 ·

I am in need of some help. I work as a recruiter for my company and have been tasked with finding a Quality Data lead that has IBM Infosphere information analyzer experience. That is not the issue, the issue that I am running into is that all my candidates have been Data Stage heavy. I have tried to research how the two interact. All I keep finding is adverts on how awesome the tool is and blah blah blah.

Can someone please explain this to me? I have so many questions that the silly adverts aren’t answering!

Basically, IBM Infosphere is a set of datawarehouse tools, and IBM Infosphere is the component that’s used to load data into the warehouse. While IBM InfoSphere Information Analyzer is the component to analyse the data once it’s loaded.

Surely, the CIO or lower manager that needs the analist can help you to select and interview the candidates. After all, he needs to work with him. Maybe you come to the conclusion that none of them is a good enough candidate. Maybe one of them is promising.
