IBM Mainframe access thru DSL

by jalaimo . Updated 24 years, 11 months ago

I used to access our IBM Mainframe from my PC at home with a 56k modem using ProComm32
for Windows (W98) because it allowed me to simulate a IBM 3101 terminal. I now have DSL at home and ProComm doesn’t work anymore. Is there a way or software package that will work with DSL and allow me to simulate a IBM 3101 terminal (the IBM 3101 is required). I used to just dial an 800# and run a ProComm
script to sign-in. Also if there is a software package that will work for me, will it have to be loaded on the mainframe as well?
