IBM press release archive photos

My local newspaper is affiliated with a 'sister' paper in Binghamton, New York, home of IBM in it's heyday. Out of the blue (nyuk-nyuk) this morning they post 84 pictures from their archives of IBM press release photos.

ps, know what #23 is displaying? I have to assume that these are no longer hand made, like the originals were. (which concept IBM got lock, stock and barrel from the inventors for basically nothing)

Good photos, too. (I'm nearly as impressed by the speed at which the gallery images load.)

Re: 23; I'm not sure what I'm looking at, but it does seem a bit like core memory. The "hand made" comment tends to confirm my guess. Would that, then, be the woman who stitched them up originally, during the original research?
