ibm server boot

hello everyone,
1- i have ibm server bladecenter hs21 and i have problem with booting, my cd rom doesn't work there is achoice boot from usb,network, and hdd, when i boot from usb cd rom no thing happen and tell me bios flash rom disable, why i can't boot from usb cd rom please anyone help me with this problem

2- can anyone explain step by step the booting from network for ibm server bladecenter hs21 8853

You will need to see if there is a BIOS chip in the server first..

Have a look inside the server to see if anything is missing such as the BIOS chip(s) or any other components. If there are then you are out of luck try to load anything on it.

Instead of using a USB Optical Drive

Try copying the contents of your preferred Install Disc to the Root of the Thumb Drive and see if you can boot off that.

If you can just install the required OS as per the usual manner but treat the Thumb Drive as the Boot Device not the stated Optical Drive.

If that doesn't work you'll need to follow the advice in the above answer.
