IBM Think Pad

By nhoek ·
I have a user that some how or another mapped there M key to Be the 0(zero) instead of M. Either that or their M key no longer works. I tried Function M/0 to switch it back and it stays at 0. My laptop (HP) can togle back and forth when I hit Function M/0.

Any ideas ?

On a ThinkPad, this occurs when the keyboard is in NUM LOCK mode. Just change out of NUM LOCK mode and the M key will be M again. There is a "numeric keypad" overlayed on the 7,8,9,U,I,P,J,K,L,M keys.

On a ThinkPad, the NUM-LOCK/SCROLL-LOCK key is a single key at the top of the keyboard. Hold down the SHIFT key and press this combination key and it will toggle the NUM LOCK.
