I have an IBM ThinkCentre that has no OS. I purchased XP Home edition but am unable to get it to function/install properly. I had to use the F12 key to get the system to boot from the CD. From that point it goes thru the initial setup of tranferring files but when the system reboots all I get is a black screen with a cursor OR the IBM startup screen pops up but then freezes. Any ideas for a non-techy home user? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
