Icons are blinking

Hi !!

I have a Win2k Server with SP 2 installed. I have put some shortcuts in the quick launch bar of the task bar..but the icons in the quick launch tab keeps refreshing(it seems like blinking) all the time. Because of that the Hard disk is busyall the time and the Busy light is on always. pls help.
