ok so i was installing xp mce on my laptop when all of the sudden it started making a sizzling sound followed by pops and boom blue screen of death so i restarted the computer and it said it couldnt find the hard drive or optical reader or what ever so im guessing i fried my hard drive? but isnt the optical device the cd drive? why would that affect my cd drive. how do i fix it if i cand use a cd?
