I have an on going problem with about 4 laptops. When at work our internet access runs through the Lan and runs fine. When the user takes the laptop home and uses their dial-up ISP and try using IE to surf the net it times out. I get the error cannot connect to the server. I have changed the connection to make sure it knows it using the dial up I’ve even deleted the lan connection but it still searches for the server. What else am I missing that is causing this problem?
