IE 5.5 Security

By Spring ·

IE 5.5 Security

The three protocols mentioned perform equivalent functions. (authentication, confidentiality, and integrity).

There are some differences in which cryptographic algorithms are used between the different protocols.

PCT requires less communication between the client and server to set up the secure session than the older SSL.

TLS is an extension of SSL.
